Vehicle Crash in Cedar Glen Lakes Results in Entrapment and Rescue Operation

WHITING, NJ—A motor vehicle accident prompted an emergency response from Whiting Fire Company Sta. 33 in Cedar Glen Lakes at approximately 12:21 PM on Thursday.

Upon arrival, the rescue team found a vehicle overturned, resulting in the entrapment of its occupants. The vehicle was quickly stabilized using rescue struts on its “clean side.” The rescue operation involved removing one patient through the front windshield and another after removing the vehicle’s roof.

JBMDL Engine 6761 and MTFD 7613 provided assistance at the scene. The patients were then handed over to Manchester EMS’s Basic Life Support care.
