Suspects Flee with Cash Register In Morning Robbery in D.C.

Washington, D.C. – A robbery occurred just before 5 AM in the 4400 block of Benning Road, Northeast D.C., with the D.C. Metro Police Department swiftly launching an investigation into the incident. Two suspects, described as Black men and armed with handguns, are reported to have stolen the cash register from an establishment.

Following the robbery, the suspects were observed escaping in a distinctive white 2018 Dodge Durango, notable for two black stripes on the hood and a sunroof.

The police have issued a lookout for these individuals, advising the public not to engage with the suspects due to their danger. Instead, anyone with information is encouraged to contact the police at 202-727-9099 or text 50411. As the investigation continues, no further details have been disclosed.
