ROBBINSVILLE, NJ – The Robbinsville Township Police Department is calling on residents to enhance their vigilance following a surge in motor vehicle thefts and residential burglaries across New Jersey. Robbinsville has not been spared from this uptrend, experiencing incidents involving the theft of high-end vehicles following home burglaries.

Authorities are collaborating with law enforcement agencies at various levels to tackle the organized crime wave. Criminals are specifically targeting homes to find key fobs for luxury vehicles, often breaking in during early morning hours. This year, Robbinsville witnessed two such burglaries where luxury vehicles were stolen: a 2021 Mercedes Benz ‘G’ Wagon and a 2024 Range Rover Sport.

Residents are urged to secure their homes, activate alarm systems, and report any suspicious activities immediately to the police. Suspicious behaviors can include repeated driving by unfamiliar vehicles, unknown individuals loitering in the area, or attempts to check vehicle doors. The Robbinsville Police Department emphasizes the importance of real-time reporting through 911 or their non-emergency number for prompt response and investigation.
