Baltimore Task Forces Arrest Suspect in Shooting

BALTIMORE, MD – On Thursday, members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force and the Capital Area Regional Task Force successfully apprehended 20-year-old Robert Blue for his alleged involvement in a shooting incident. The arrest comes in connection with a March 15 event in Northeast Baltimore, where a 21-year-old male sustained gunshot wounds in the 4600 block of White Avenue.

Following the shooting, the victim, while driving at a high rate of speed, sought help from patrolling officers near Belair Road and Arizona Avenue. The officers discovered the victim with gunshot wounds after he pulled over on the 4200 block of Arizona Avenue. The victim was promptly taken to a hospital, where he is undergoing treatment for his injuries.

After an investigation, detectives linked the crime scene to the location on White Avenue, leading to Blue’s arrest. He has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and is currently held at the Central Booking Intake Facility. This arrest highlights the continued efforts of Baltimore’s law enforcement to address and curb violent crime in the city.
