Shooting in D.C. Sparks Search for Two Suspected Gunmen

WASHINGTON, DC – In a recent incident, detectives from the D.C. Metro Police Department have launched a public appeal for assistance in identifying two individuals linked to a shooting. The call for community support follows an altercation that resulted in gunfire on Friday, March 22, at approximately 7:44 p.m.

The confrontation took place outside a business located on the 500 block of 21st Street, Northeast, where the victim was shot by one of the suspects following a dispute. The suspects then fled the area. Captured on security cameras, images of the two suspects have been released in hopes that members of the public can aid in their identification.

Authorities urge anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspects or details of the incident to contact the police at (202) 727-9099. Alternatively, tips can be sent anonymously to the D.C. Metro Police Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The police emphasize that individuals should not approach the suspects but report any relevant information to law enforcement.
