Howard County Police Report Series of Overnight Crimes

COLUMBIA, MD – Howard County Police Department has detailed several criminal incidents occurring overnight between March 25th and 26th, including a robbery, a commercial burglary coupled with vehicle theft, multiple vehicle break-ins, and vehicle thefts across various locations.

A robbery was reported at the Royal Tobacco & Vape on the 7100 block of Cradlerock Way in Columbia, where three masked suspects armed with handguns stole cash and merchandise around 8:30 p.m. on March 25th. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported during the incident.

In a separate incident, a 2017 black Acura RDX was stolen from Caliber Collision on the 6400 block of Dobbin Center Way in Columbia after suspects broke in through a bay door window overnight between March 25th and 26th.


Additionally, several reports of thefts from vehicles were noted, with incidents in Columbia and Hanover where nothing was reported stolen. Vehicle thefts were also reported across Columbia, Laurel, Elkridge, and Ellicott City, including a 2021 black BMW M3, a 2003 white Ford Econoline E-250, a 2013 white Hyundai Elantra, and a 2016 Kia Soul, which was later recovered.

The Howard County Police Department is actively investigating these incidents and encourages anyone with information to come forward to assist in their ongoing investigations.
