BRONX, NY – A sexual assault occurred in front of 225 Brook Avenue, prompting an investigation by the Bronx Special Victims Squad. On March 18, at around 6:10 PM, a 31-year-old woman was assaulted by an unidentified man who approached her from behind and committed an indecent act before fleeing on foot.
“The 31-year-old female victim was walking in front of 225 Brook Avenue when she was approached by an unknown male individual from behind who grabbed her and rubbed his pelvic area into her buttocks,” the NYPD said in a statement.
No injuries were reported following the incident. The suspect is described as a male, around 45-50 years old, 5’8″ tall, weighing 165 pounds, with a dark complexion and medium build. He was observed wearing a green jacket, black hooded sweatshirt, black winter hat, gray pants, and multicolored sneakers.
