Woman Accosted During Purse Snatching on Manhattan Bus

NEW YORK, NY – A purse snatching incident was reported in Manhattan, leading to a search for the unidentified male suspect. On March 22, at around 4:22 PM, near 111 Wadsworth Avenue, a man approached a 63-year-old woman and forcibly took her purse. The victim did not sustain any injuries during the altercation.

The suspect then fled on foot and boarded a BX35 MTA bus, heading eastbound on West 178 Street. Described as having a dark complexion, the male is believed to be between 18 to 22 years old, 5’8″ tall, with a medium build. His last known attire includes a black jacket with fur-lined hood, a purple hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and gray sneakers.
