Winner gets $1K a week for life with Newburgh lottery ticket

NEWBURGH, N.Y. — A second-prize-winning CASH4LIFE ticket worth a guaranteed minimum of $1 million was sold in Newburgh for the July 7 drawing, New York Lottery officials announced.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Smokes 4 Less, located at 59 North Plank Road. The second-tier prize guarantees the winner $1,000 a week for life.

CASH4LIFE numbers are drawn daily at approximately 9 p.m. from a pool of 1 to 60, with the Cash Ball drawn from a separate pool of 1 to 4.

Winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.

The New York Lottery continues to generate billions for public education, contributing $3.8 billion in the 2023–2024 fiscal year alone.
