SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Syracuse Police Department announced the retirement of Sergeant Dan Deegan, who served with the department for over 37 years.
Deegan joined the force on April 8, 1988, and during his career received multiple commendations, including five Divisional Commendations, one Bureau Commendation, and one Departmental Commendation, along with several letters of appreciation from community members.
The department thanked him for his long-standing dedication and wished him well in retirement.
