21-Year-Old Man Dead in Montgomery Village Shooting

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. – Authorities are investigating a homicide following a fatal shooting in Montgomery Village on Monday.

The Montgomery County Department of Police reported that the incident occurred just before noon in the 19300 block of Club House Road. Officers arrived at the scene at 11:52 a.m., where they found a 21-year-old man who had been shot.

Despite life-saving efforts, the man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Police have detained one person in connection with the shooting. Further details will be released as the investigation progresses.
