23-year-old man killed in Fort Washington crash, police say

FORT WASHINGTON, Md. — A 23-year-old man died early Friday morning following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Indian Head Highway and Old Fort Road, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.

The victim, identified as Marcus Willis of Oxon Hill, was transported to a hospital after the crash, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Police responded to the scene at approximately 12:00 a.m., finding two vehicles involved in the collision. While Willis sustained fatal injuries, the other driver and additional passengers suffered injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is conducting a preliminary investigation into the crash, which occurred in the intersection. Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the collision.
