25-year-old shot and killed on Thursday identified

GERMANTOWN – At approximately 5:45 p.m., Fifth District officers responded to a call for multiple shots fired on the 19300 block of Circle Gate Drive in Germantown. Upon entry into the residence, officers located 25-year-old Jahandar Rahman Darvish dead inside the home from apparent gunshot wounds.

Montgomery County Police – Major Crimes Division, Homicide Section was notified and responded to the location.

Detectives believe this to be an isolated incident, and this is an active and ongoing investigation. There is currently no suspect in custody.

A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the homicide suspect(s). Callers can remain anonymous.
