On Wednesday February 9th 2022, at about 7:00am, the Harrisburg Police responded to the 1300 block of Liberty St for a report of a person in distress. Upon arrival officers located two deceased individuals and three wounded individuals inside of a residence, all suffering from signs of an assault. Officers rendered aid to all of the wounded individuals and they were transported to local hospitals for advanced medical care. A homicide investigation was immediately initiated and a person was interest was identified. The person of interest was later apprehended, and is currently in police custody. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
