30-year-old Maryland man killed in DC shooting

WASHINGTON, DC — A 30-year-old man from Maryland was fatally shot late Tuesday night in Southeast D.C., and police are now searching for information in connection with the killing.

Officers from the Seventh District responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 10:52 p.m. on November 5 in the 3300 block of 6th Street SE. Upon arrival, they discovered Keion Naylor, of Suitland, Maryland, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. DC Fire and EMS transported Naylor to a nearby hospital, but despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

The incident is being actively investigated, with detectives seeking any information that may assist in identifying the suspect or suspects involved.

Anyone with knowledge of the shooting is urged to contact police by calling (202) 727-9099 or texting tips anonymously to 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case.
