37-year-old man killed in Southeast Baltimore shooting

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 37-year-old man was fatally shot in Southeast Baltimore on Sunday afternoon, prompting an active homicide investigation by local authorities.

The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m. in the 2500 block of Biddle Street, where Southeast District patrol officers responded to multiple shot-spotter alerts. Upon arrival, officers found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead despite lifesaving efforts by medical staff.

Detectives are actively investigating the case to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No suspect information has been released at this time.
