50-year-old man stabbed overnight in Philadelphia, m police investigation ongoing

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — A 50-year-old man was stabbed early Sunday morning near Luzerne Street and Potter Street in the city’s 24th District, police said.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:20 a.m. on the highway. The victim sustained two stab wounds to his upper left arm and was transported by police to Jefferson Frankford Hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition.

The scene remains active as East Detectives continue their investigation. No arrests have been made, and the weapon involved has not been recovered.

Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding the stabbing to come forward.
