60-Year-Old Man Killed in Temple Hills Vehicle Collision

TEMPLE HILLS, Md. — The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Saturday morning in Temple Hills. The crash claimed the life of 60-year-old Douglas Brown of Clinton.

The incident took place at approximately 9:45 a.m. on August 31, 2024, near the intersection of Branch Avenue and Oxford Road. Officers responding to the scene found two vehicles—a sedan and an SUV—both with significant damage. Each vehicle had two occupants who sustained injuries in the collision.

All four individuals were transported to a nearby hospital, where Mr. Brown was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The other three occupants suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation as detectives work to piece together the events leading up to the collision.
