60-year-old woman arrested in Glen Burnie drug bust after search warrant executed
GLEN BURNIE, MD — A 60-year-old woman was arrested Thursday after Eastern District detectives seized crack cocaine, suspected narcotics, and cash from a Glen Burnie residence during a coordinated search warrant operation.
Detectives with the Eastern District Strategic Patrol Team and members of the Quick Response Team executed the warrant on November 13 at a home in the 7900 block of Nolpark Court. The raid was part of an ongoing investigation into suspected drug activity linked to the location.
The suspect, identified as Sylvia Melissa Kenney of Glen Burnie, was taken into custody without incident.
A search of the home resulted in the discovery of approximately 7.73 grams of suspected cocaine, 10.19 grams of suspected crack cocaine, two digital scales, two containers containing an unknown white powdery substance, and $1,662 in cash believed to be tied to drug sales.
Charges related to controlled dangerous substance violations are pending as the investigation continues. Officials have not confirmed the identity of any other individuals possibly involved in the case.
