61-year-old man’s death ruled a homicide after grim discovery

Baltimore, Md. — A 61-year-old man was found dead in a Baltimore home Monday night, prompting a homicide investigation, police said.

Officers responded to a residence in the 1600 block of Balmor Court around 8:29 p.m. for a report of a possible deceased person. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim unresponsive with signs of trauma. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.

The victim’s body was transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office, where the death was ruled a homicide.
