69-Year-Old Terminally Ill Man Jumps from 5th Floor of NYC Apartment Building

NEW YORK, NY – Police in New York City have reported a 69-year-old man suffering from a terminal illness decided to take his life, jumping from a window in his Manhattan apartment building.

The incident happened near East 12th Street when the man jumped from his East Village apartment building to his death.

Upon arrival, first responders declared the man dead at around 11:55 pm. Police are investigating the incident as suicide and foul play is not expected.
