North York Borough – A 70-year-old woman was nearly struck by a bullet fired into her home on 10th Avenue in near North Duke Street in North York Borough. Today, the Northern York County Regional Police Department announced a suspect has been apprehended, and charges are pending.

A shot fired into the home struck a dresser less than three feet from where the elderly resident was standing at the time of the incident, police reported today.

Detectives investigating the shooting found nearby surveillance video showing the vehicle used in the incident.

“While canvassing the area for evidence, the police received two videos. The videos show two speeding vehicles driving south on N.
