September 24, 2024

TOWSON, Md – A four-car collision resulted in the death of 74-year-old Ida Berry on Tuesday. Berry was declared deceased following the accident that took place on May 24 at Reisterstown Road and Slade Avenue at approximately 2:35 p.m.

A preliminary investigation showed Berry’s Toyota Corolla was struck from behind by a Kia Sorento traveling at high speed. The impact caused her Corolla to enter the southbound lane, hitting a third vehicle that then collided with a fourth southbound car.

Berry was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. The driver and passenger of the third vehicle also sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a local hospital.

The driver of the Kia Sorento faces several traffic violations in connection with the crash.
