77-year-old man assaulted in Staten Island robbery, suspects sought

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Police are searching for three suspects who violently assaulted a 77-year-old man on Tuesday afternoon in the vicinity of 60 Skinner Lane, according to NYPD reports.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:43 p.m. on April 15, 2025. Authorities say the elderly victim was approached from behind by three unidentified males who pushed him to the ground, then repeatedly kicked him in the face and body before fleeing the scene on foot, heading southbound on Wayne Place.

Emergency medical personnel responded and transported the victim to Richmond University Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.

The suspects are described as males with dark complexions. One was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue sweatpants, and black sneakers. The second wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and gray sneakers. The third suspect had on a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and multicolored sneakers.
