Governor Phil Murphy has expressed his condolences following an assassination attempt on former U.S. President Donald Trump, while simultaneously facing criticism for his administration’s actions against Trump-owned properties in New Jersey. The state’s decision to strip liquor licenses from two Trump golf courses is being seen by some as politically motivated.
The action has been described by many pundits as part of the overall Democrat party plot to punish and continue their act of ‘lawfare’ against the former President.
The New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control did not renew the liquor licenses for Trump National Golf Club in Colts Neck and Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster. A state spokesperson confirmed that while the licenses expired recently, the clubs could continue alcohol service under interim permits until a formal hearing is scheduled, with the interim approval set to expire on July 19th.
Conversely, Trump National Golf Club Philadelphia in Pine Hill successfully renewed its license earlier this June. The inconsistency in license renewals has sparked accusations of targeted legal action, which Trump has labeled as “lawfare” against him by local and state governments.
