Police Investigating Shooting in Schenectady

SCHENECTADY, NY – An investigation is currently underway following a shooting incident that occurred late Tuesday night in the 400 block of Third Street. Schenectady Police Department officers were called to the scene at approximately 11:50 PM after reports of gunshots.

Upon their arrival, police found multiple shell casings scattered across the street and observed several bullet holes in a nearby residence. Fortunately, no injuries were reported at the scene. The department’s Crime Scene Unit was promptly deployed to gather evidence and process the area.
