Irwin lincoln mazda donates nearly 1,000 lbs of food to needy for thanksgiving

FREEHOLD-On Friday November 16th, Irwin Lincoln Mazda dropped off their first donation to Fulfill NJ, a combined total of 969 pounds of food represented the equivalent of every car sold at Irwin for the past month.

The collection effort is ongoing. Irwin is collecting non-perishables in their showroom until December 10th. Stop By and Donate today. Monmouth and Ocean counties need your help & every little bit goes a long way!

Irwin Lincoln is a proud sponsor of Fulfill Students Change Hunger and an official drop-off center for Fulfill Monmouth and Ocean Counties. Students Change Hunger provides a platform for students of all ages to combat hunger throughout NJ and Fulfill focuses on more than food distribution with a strong commitment to fulfill more of the needs of our neighbors and win the battle against hunger.

Their approach goes beyond providing food and helps those in need get to a place, where they can get back on their feet for good.

Ending hunger in our communities is a complex challenge so in addition to their frozen turkey donations, Irwin Lincoln Mazda is an official drop-off center. You can find Fulfill of Monmouth & Ocean Counties collection boxes located in their showrooms and their Service Center. Canned and dry goods will be accepted during regular business hours through December 10^th, 2018 making it easy for you to support your community. Just stop in and drop your items off and they will get them where they are needed most.

Some of the most needed items are as follows:

· Canned Tuna, Chicken, Salmon

· Canned Fruits/Vegetables

· Brown/Wild/White Rice

· Peanut Butter & Jelly

· Pasta / Hot or Cold Cereal

· Canned or dry beans/peas/lentils

· 100% juice boxes

· Healthy snacks/ Unsalted Nuts

· Cooking Oils & Ready-to-eat Canned Meals

· *No glass containers please
