One dead in crash on Northeast Columbia Boulevard

PORTLAND, Ore. — A man was killed Friday night in a two-vehicle crash involving a sedan and a tractor trailer on Northeast Columbia Boulevard.

Portland Police officers responded to the collision at 9:59 p.m. near the intersection of Northeast Columbia Boulevard and Northeast Lombard Court. The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured and is cooperating with investigators.

The Portland Police Traffic Division’s Major Crash Team is investigating the incident. Authorities have closed Northeast Columbia Boulevard between Northeast 13th Avenue and Northeast 21st Avenue while the investigation is underway.

Police are asking anyone with information about the crash to contact the Traffic Investigations Unit, referencing case number 24-267947.
