NEW YORK CITY-Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez spent some time in her home city this week, taking a break from the D.C. hustle and bustle to appear on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’.
During the interview, Cortez marveled at her rising star power, despite her ratings falling faster than Seth Meyer’s own television show ratings.
“It’s weird why are so many grown men obsessed with like this 29 year old?” she asked.
Cortez maintained a good game face of smiling and giggling for national television, but Meyers skirted asking the Congresswoman real questions, such as her plea hours earlier to up the socialist gun grab in America. She ridiculed an active shooter exercise that took place in an Indiana Elementary School after teachers complained about the realism of the exercise.
The drill was designed to help faculty and students survive an active shooter scenario at their school.
Cortez used the incident to push her socialist gun control agenda.
“You know, instead of training children, teachers, houses of faith, & concertgoers to prep for being shot, we could just: -Pass Universal Background checks (#HR8!) -Disarm domestic abusers -Mandate safe storage -Ban bump stocks, semiautos, & high cap mags designed to kill people,” she tweeted.
As for why grown men are obsessed with her, does she not realize that if she didn’t spend most of her time in Congress intruding into the lives of “grown men” who were previously minding their own business, just maybe, they wouldn’t be so “obsessed” with her. Prior to becoming a congresswoman, grown men weren’t obsessed with her. After winning her election, grown men were not obsessed with Cortez, but once she started attacking the constitutional rights and personal freedoms of grown men, she rightfully has become a target of those grown men she has launched a national campaign against.
Instead of accepting her role in why grown men are obsessed with her, she, like a good socialist, played the victim card once again…why are they bothering little old me? A little 29-year-old girl from New York City who was just tending a bar and serving drinks. I’m just a normal girl from the city.
Most grown men are well aware of the damage Cortez is trying to do to America and along with grown women who survived the cold war and saw the atrocities of socialists past, she needs to grow up and accept the fact that she’s a socialist revolutionary attempting to change America and to think Americans outside impoverished Democrat cities across America will lie down without a fight is a naive position to take.
Cortez may have fooled her peers into thinking her socialist revolution is a great idea for America, but she’s not fooling grown men or women.
