UPPER MARLBORO, MD — A Maryland couple who have played the lottery together for over a decade hit a major milestone, claiming a $100,000 top prize from the $100,000 Ca$h scratch-off game.

The winners, who chose to remain anonymous under the name “For Lifers,” purchased the winning ticket at Osborne Liquors, 7603 Crain Highway in Upper Marlboro. The retailer will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the lucky ticket.

The wife selected the $30 scratch-off for its multiple top prizes and bonus prize potential. After confirming the win using the My Lottery Rewards app, the couple admitted they were in “total shock.”

They plan to use the winnings to pay bills and save but say their weekly lottery tradition will continue. The $100,000 Ca$h scratch-off, launched in September 2023, still has 49 top prizes remaining.
