Washington, D.C. — Police are searching for two suspects who robbed and assaulted a person at gunpoint in Northwest D.C. on Tuesday, April 29, during a violent street encounter.
The suspects approached two victims around the 800 block of H Street NW, brandished handguns, and demanded property. One of the victims was assaulted before the suspects took cash and fled the area.
Surveillance cameras in the area captured images of the suspects. Photos have been released in an effort to identify those involved.

Footage released as police work to ID suspects
Investigators say both suspects were clearly captured on nearby surveillance cameras. Police have not disclosed the amount of money taken or whether the victims required medical treatment following the assault.
