Gas station stickup suspect busted after armed New Castle robbery

New Castle, DE – A 21-year-old man accused of pulling a gun on a gas station clerk and fleeing with cash on Labor Day is now behind bars, police said.

Delaware State Police announced the arrest of Hasan Gordon in connection with a daylight armed robbery at a Gulf station on West Basin Road. Investigators said Gordon walked into the business around 12:22 p.m. on September 1, flashed a handgun, and demanded money from the register. The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of cash before the suspect bolted. No one was hurt during the holdup.

Detectives tracked Gordon through investigative leads and secured a warrant for his arrest. Wilmington Police officers spotted him on September 7 and took him into custody without incident.
