New York, NY – An off-duty NYPD School Safety Agent was arrested early Monday morning following an alleged assault in upper Manhattan, according to police officials.
Authorities identified the suspect as Eric Bell, 37, who was taken into custody around 1:38 a.m. within the confines of the 34th Precinct. Bell faces charges of criminal obstruction of breathing and assault after an incident that reportedly occurred while he was off duty.
