PHILADELPHIA, PA – A man was critically wounded in a highway shooting late Monday afternoon in South Philadelphia, authorities said.
Police said officers from the 3rd District responded around 5:15 p.m. to reports of gunfire in the area of the 700 block of Oregon Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers found a male victim, identified only as a John Doe, suffering from a gunshot wound.
