Valley Stream, NY — A TAKE 5 ticket sold at a neighborhood store in Valley Stream has hit the jackpot, landing its buyer a $31,092 top prize in Tuesday night’s drawing.

The winning ticket was sold at Mahavir Convenience, located at 779 West Merrick Road, and matched all five numbers drawn in the October 21 TAKE 5 Evening game. The New York Lottery confirmed it as the latest top-prize winner in the popular daily draw game.

TAKE 5 drawings are held twice a day, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with numbers drawn from a pool of 1 through 39. Winning tickets must be claimed within one year of the drawing date.
