BRONX, N.Y. – A 53-year-old man was hospitalized Monday afternoon after being struck in the face with a carton of eggs during an argument aboard an MTA bus in the South Bronx, police said.
The incident unfolded around 2:50 p.m. on a northbound BX15 bus in front of 3250 Third Avenue.
The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition.

Dispute escalates into assault on BX15 route

Police said the attacker ran northbound on Boston Road toward East 164th Street following the assault. Officers canvassed the area, but no arrests have been made.
