Mother and daughter scratch off $100K Bingo X10 win at Baltimore liquor store
BALTIMORE, MD — A mother and daughter in Baltimore turned a casual bingo scratch-off session into a six-figure celebration after hitting the $100,000 top prize on a Bingo X10 ticket purchased at a neighborhood liquor store.
The winning ticket was bought on November 6 at Monumental Liquors, located at 2125 E. Monument Street. The $10 Bingo X10 scratch-off game, which launched in March, still has two top prizes remaining statewide.
According to Lottery officials, the daughter was the first to realize the potential jackpot win — and her reaction startled the household. Her mother, hearing screams from another room, rushed in fearing something had gone wrong. Instead, she found her daughter visibly shaken and holding the winning ticket.
After carefully reviewing the card, the mother confirmed what they both suspected: a $100,000 win.
The ticket was officially claimed on November 10 at Maryland Lottery headquarters. While the daughter admitted to being too excited to sleep in the days following the win, her mother described sleeping soundly, smiling through the experience.
Monumental Liquors will receive a $1,000 retailer bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Bingo X10 has proven popular with Maryland players. Of the six $100,000 top prizes in the game, four have now been claimed. In addition, 14 of the 20 second-tier $10,000 prizes have already been won.
Maryland Lottery games generate revenue for the state’s General Fund, which supports public programs and services. Winners are required to claim prizes in person at Lottery headquarters for amounts over $25,000.
