Georgetown, DE – Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting incident that happened on Tuesday evening. At around 5:20 p.m., troopers responded to the 22000 block of Lewes Georgetown Highway for a report of gunfire striking a residence.
The preliminary investigation indicated that an unknown suspect fired multiple shots at the home. At the time, two adults were present inside the house.
No injuries were reported as a result of the shooting. The Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit is actively pursuing the case.
