Trenton, NJ – A small New Jersey dairy has achieved global recognition after earning a Super Gold medal at the 2025 World Cheese Awards for its signature Drumm Cheese, state officials announced.
Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse, based in Milford, was honored at the international competition held this year in Bern, Switzerland, where more than 4,000 cheeses from 46 countries were judged by a panel of 265 experts.
The raw-milk, aged Drumm Cheese stood out for its aroma, flavor, and texture, placing it among the elite winners in the prestigious Super Gold category.
State leaders praise farm’s international recognition
Lieutenant Governor Tahesha Way congratulated Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse for representing New Jersey on the global stage, calling the award a testament to the strength of the state’s agricultural industry.
“New Jersey is proud to be home to a vibrant agricultural landscape, where talented farmers craft the finest artisan products to be enjoyed around the world,” Way said.
New Jersey Agriculture Secretary Ed Wengryn also praised the achievement, saying the recognition underscores the quality and craftsmanship of local producers. “It’s truly special when the world takes notice and recognizes the exceptional quality of products our New Jersey farmers are bringing to the global stage,” he said.
