Gun-toting robbers stalk Metro rider through city streets
Washington, DC – Two armed suspects are wanted by police after a violent robbery in Northwest early Saturday morning, where a victim was followed, assaulted, and robbed just after exiting a Metro station, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
The incident occurred around 12:23 a.m. on December 20 in the 300 block of G Street NW. Police say the victim was trailed by several individuals after leaving the station. At least two of the suspects were reportedly armed with guns.

According to investigators, the suspects chased and physically assaulted the victim before stealing personal property. The group then fled the area. No injuries were reported.
Two of the suspects were captured on surveillance video in the vicinity of the crime. Images have been released by MPD in an effort to identify them.
Anyone with information is urged to contact MPD at (202) 727-9099 or text tips anonymously to 50411. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
