Jersey player snags $600K top prize with new scratch-off ticket

Two lucky scratch-off players hit it big in New Jersey with $600K and $200K wins

Trenton, NJ – A Middlesex County resident is now $600,000 richer after scratching off the top prize on a recently released New Jersey Lottery game, while a Burlington County player scored $200,000 in a separate win just days earlier.

The $600,000 ticket, the first top prize in the Crossword Xtreme Scratch-Off series, was purchased at Milltown Convenience, located at 152 South Main Street in Milltown. The $30 ticket is part of game number 01968, which launched the week of January 12. Only two top prizes remain in that series.

The New Jersey Lottery continues to drive significant revenue for state programs. Since its founding in 1970, it has contributed nearly $34.7 billion to the state, with current proceeds dedicated to supporting the public employee pension system through a long-term funding agreement.

Officials did not immediately release the names of the winners.
