Third-prize-winning Powerball ticket sold at 7-Eleven near Herald Square
MANHATTAN, N.Y. — A Powerball ticket purchased in Manhattan is worth $50,000 after matching enough numbers in Wednesday’s drawing to claim a third-prize payout, according to the New York Lottery.
The winning ticket was sold at 7-Eleven #42327A, located at 128 W. 34th St. in Manhattan.
Lottery officials said the ticket was one of two third-prize-winning Powerball tickets sold statewide for the June 10 drawing. The Manhattan ticket carried a prize value of $50,000.
Powerball drawings use five numbers selected from a field of one to 69, along with a red Powerball chosen from a separate field of one to 26.
Drawings are conducted every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
The New York Lottery remains North America’s largest and most profitable lottery, generating $3.6 billion for public education in New York during fiscal year 2024-2025.
