Police search for suspect after three vehicles were damaged and property was stolen from two of them
WASHINGTON, DC — A suspect caught on camera is wanted after smashing the windows of multiple parked vehicles and stealing property in Northeast DC, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
The thefts occurred at approximately 1:41 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, in the 600 block of 7th Street Northeast DC.
Police said the suspect broke the windows of three parked vehicles and stole property from two of them before fleeing the area.
Investigators released surveillance images of both the suspect and the suspect’s vehicle in hopes that someone will recognize them.
The investigation remains ongoing.

The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible.
