Police investigate fatal two-vehicle collision that left another person hospitalized
BALTIMORE, MD — A 45-year-old woman was killed after a violent two-vehicle crash at one of Northwest Baltimore’s busiest intersections Saturday night, while another person was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
The collision occurred at approximately 8:15 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at the intersection of Liberty Heights Avenue and Wabash Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found two heavily damaged vehicles. Police said the occupants of both vehicles suffered serious injuries.
The 45-year-old woman was transported to Sinai Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
The occupant of the second vehicle was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Police have not released that person’s condition.
The Baltimore Police Crash Team responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
Investigators have not released what led to the collision, and the crash remains under active investigation.
