TROY, NY — A visit to a neighborhood market in Troy has turned into a $50,000 Powerball win after a ticket sold there matched enough numbers in the July 22 drawing.
According to the New York Lottery, the third-prize-winning ticket was sold at LaPosta Bros. Market, located at 181 Speigletown Road.
The winning ticket is worth $50,000.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
Lottery officials have not announced whether the prize has been claimed.
