New Basketball Backboards Installed at Ortley Beach Bayside Park in Toms River

Toms River, NJ – Basketball players visiting Ortley Beach Bayside Park will find upgraded courts after the Township of Toms River announced the installation of new backboards at the popular bayside recreation area.

Toms River Mayor Dan Rodrick today said the backboards are part of a townshipwide park improvement project underway at multiple parks.

The township shared the update this week, thanking its Parks Department for completing the improvements and continuing maintenance efforts at community parks.

Parks Department completed the upgrades

According to Toms River Township, the new backboards have been installed at the basketball courts located in Ortley Beach Bayside Park.

Township officials recognized the Parks Department for its work maintaining public facilities, stating, “Thank you to our Parks Department for all their hard work making our facilities look beautiful.”

The improvements are part of the township’s ongoing maintenance of parks and recreational amenities available to residents and visitors throughout the community.

Ortley Beach Bayside Park serves as a neighborhood destination for outdoor recreation, including basketball and waterfront activities along Barnegat Bay.
