Detectives say they recovered stolen property when they arrested a 19-year-old in Baltimore.
BALTIMORE, MD — A 19-year-old Baltimore man has been arrested in connection with an armed carjacking that occurred last month in East Baltimore, and detectives say they recovered the victim’s stolen watch during the arrest.
The Baltimore Police Department announced that Deandre Brown, 19, was arrested Wednesday in the 3200 block of Belair Road by members of the Eastern District Directed Action Team.
According to police, Brown is accused in an armed carjacking that occurred on June 21 in the 3200 block of Harwell Avenue.
During the arrest, officers recovered the victim’s stolen Citizen watch from Brown’s possession, police said.
Brown was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged in connection with the armed carjacking.
Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
The charges are allegations, and Brown is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
