Paterson, NJ – The latest inmate roster from the Passaic County Jail shows a wide range of recent arrests and commitments, with defendants facing charges including aggravated assault, burglary, drug distribution, stalking, home invasion, and child endangerment.
The records, current as of Thursday, show several inmates were booked within the past 48 hours and are being held without bail pending court proceedings. Others remain incarcerated on previously filed criminal cases or probation violations.
Assault and domestic violence cases among newest bookings
Several of the newest commitments involve violent crime allegations.
Jerry Rodriguez, 43, was booked Thursday on charges of second-degree aggravated assault, third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon stemming from an alleged incident on Wednesday.
Jaja R. Strawbridge, 29, and Filiberto Garcia-Ceballos, 41, were each booked on separate cases charging second-degree aggravated assault by strangulation and third-degree terroristic threats.
Rafael Amado Delossantos, 46, was committed on charges of third-degree aggravated assault involving an alleged domestic violence victim and disorderly persons criminal mischief.
Roman Rosario, 34, was booked Thursday on a fourth-degree stalking charge alleging conduct that caused another person to fear for their safety.
Drug-related arrests continue
Drug offenses accounted for several of the latest bookings.
Volodymyr Shust, 33, was committed Thursday on two third-degree counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance along with a disorderly persons charge for possession of drug paraphernalia.
David Anthony Bambrick, 42, faces third-degree drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, fourth-degree shoplifting, and petty disorderly persons criminal trespass charges following his Wednesday arrest.
Joshua Miguel Fernandez, 26, was booked on two second-degree counts of possession with intent to distribute heroin or cocaine, two third-degree drug possession charges, and a drug paraphernalia offense.
Sincere Andre Merritt, 36, remains housed at the jail on a second-degree charge of manufacturing or distributing a controlled dangerous substance filed in June.
Paul Charles Drake, 39, was booked Thursday on a disorderly persons charge alleging possession of drug paraphernalia.
Burglary and property crime defendants remain jailed
Several defendants are facing burglary-related charges.
Robert Garriga, 47, remains held without bail on second-degree home invasion burglary and criminal mischief charges connected to a July 15 case originating in Hackensack.
Youssef Belkhir, 22, was committed on third-degree burglary and fourth-degree criminal mischief charges.
Christopher Nuez, 21, faces multiple charges including second-degree eluding, third-degree burglary, third-degree trafficking in personal identifying information involving multiple victims, and fourth-degree resisting arrest.
Child endangerment and sex offense allegations
Among the most serious cases on the current roster is Jorge L. Nino Rodriquez, 39, who is being held without bail on second-degree endangering the welfare of a child and two counts of third-degree aggravated criminal sexual contact.
Coswayne R. Donald, 46, appears in the jail records as a sentenced inmate with a projected release date in 2038. He was committed following convictions for first-degree aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
Tajay A. Turner, 30, was booked on a disorderly persons lewdness charge.
Other notable bookings
Filiberto Zuniga, 31, was committed on a violation of probation warrant related to a prior third-degree aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer charge.
Dariusz Marcin Korwin, 51, was booked on two counts of fourth-degree aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and third-degree resisting arrest involving threats or force.
Daniel C. Richards, 43, faces charges including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, terroristic threats, simple assault, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
Angela Vasquez, 29, remains held on a second-degree controlled dangerous substance distribution charge dating to 2024.
Daniel Deroos, 61, is being held on an outstanding case involving failure to surrender controlled dangerous substances to law enforcement.
Two defendants, Umayr Silvera and Adolfo Junior Barrientos, were committed on contempt charges and remain eligible for release upon posting cash bail set at approximately $1,500 and $2,000, respectively.
