Police ask public to call 911 if they spot two juvenile suspects
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police are searching for two juvenile suspects after a late-night robbery on Benning Road in Northeast DC, prompting an alert asking the public to be on the lookout while warning residents not to approach the suspects.
The Metropolitan Police Department issued a crime alert after officers began investigating a robbery reported at approximately 11:35 p.m. Wednesday in the 4000 block of Benning Road, NE.
According to the alert, the suspects are described as two juvenile Black males with medium complexions, each standing about 5-foot-9.
Police said both were last seen wearing all-black clothing and black sneakers.
