Three suspects armed with a handgun sought after morning robbery on Decatur Street
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Three suspects armed with a handgun are being sought after an early morning armed robbery in Northwest DC, with police searching for the group after they fled the scene in a white sedan.
The Metropolitan Police Department issued a crime alert after officers responded to an armed robbery at approximately 7:02 a.m. Thursday in the 1500 block of Decatur Street NW.
According to the alert, the suspects are described as three Black males wearing all-black clothing. Police said at least one of the suspects was armed with a handgun.
Investigators said the suspects were last seen leaving the area in a white sedan.
No additional information about the robbery, including what was taken or whether anyone was injured, has been released.
